Permanent Makeup by [liv]® Plastic Surgery

Permanent makeup, or what we refer to as the “take back your morning treatment”, is a time and money-saving solution to the daily makeup routine. At liv Plastic Surgery, we offer permanent makeup to women living in and around Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Fort Lauderdale or anywhere throughout Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, who want to ditch their makeup bag and reclaim those morning hours.

What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup is the specialized technique of cosmetic tattooing. With permanent makeup you decide what area you would like done and what colors you prefer. Your trained aesthetician will work with you on finding the best choices for your skin tone, and will keep you informed throughout the treatment.

Permanent cosmetics are considered permanent because the color is tattooed into the upper part of the dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. However, as with any tattoo, fading is likely over time and is especially possible with permanent makeup as this type of cosmetic tattoo does not enter as deep into the skin as a traditional tattoo.

At liv Plastic Surgery, we offer the best that is available to make our patients feel and look their best. Our line of permanent makeup and eyelash extensions are of the highest quality and our technicians are consistently trained on all advancements in this field.

How is Permanent Makeup Performed?

Permanent makeup can be applied to the following areas:

  • Upper and lower eyelids
  • Eyebrows
  • Lips or outline of the lips

Your aesthetician will sketch the tattoo to outline the area(s) that you have chosen so that you are comfortable with the look of the placement and thickness. You will be given color choices for each area. We always apply a topical anesthetic to make sure that this experience is comfortable for you. After about 20 minutes the aesthetician will begin tattooing the natural pigments into the dermis of the skin using a state-of-the-art machine for precision and accuracy.

What are the Benefits of Permanent Makeup?

  • No more morning makeup fuss
  • No more reapplying throughout the day
  • Long-lasting
  • Does not wash off
  • Perfect for those with a busy lifestyle
  • Look your best at all times

Who is a Good Candidate for a Permanent Makeup?

You are a good candidate for permanent makeup if you:
  • Are tired of wasting time and money on expensive cosmetics
  • Have an allergy or skin sensitivity to makeup products
  • Have an active lifestyle, swim or sweat often
  • Want to wake up in the morning and look great with no effort

How Much Does Permanent Makeup Cost?

This is a cosmetic service and therefore not covered by insurance. The cost of your permanent makeup treatment will be reviewed with you during your consultation, so there are no surprises.
